Although the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 model has been lackluster lately, Adidas is planning on putting life back into the sneaker with the new “Grey/Gum” colorway.
Scheduled to release this summer, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Grey/Gum” features an interesting combination of colors. The sneaker was revealed over the weekend of March 27th and is primarily made of grey and tan, which mix well together on the prime knit material. The side stripe takes on a yellow-tan color, with darker specks closer to the toe. Grey is seen in various ways on this sneaker, mixing with blue to form a pleasing “blue-grey” color on the inner lining and the ribbed midsole. The laces are bone white, complementing the mix of grey and tan throughout the rest of the sneaker.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Grey/Gum” brings much-needed intricacy to the 350 V2 silhouette. For the past few months, Adidas refused to take any risks with the sneaker (opting for only simple colorways). We feel that the complexity of the “Grey/Gum” colorway is a nice change! The colorway itself is a promising take on a mix of grey and tan, bringing two neutral colors together to create an interesting and dynamic look. It’s not hard to notice that the blue-grey (in the inner lining and on the midsole) really helps the grey and tan prime knit pop, drawing as much attention as the yellow side stripe.
If you plan on getting a pair of “Grey/Gum” Yeezy Boost 350 V2s, make sure you have the necessary $220 USD to pay for it! Since this colorway is expected to release in the summer, sneakerheads still time to save up.
