Future and Lil Uzi Vert Come Together For Epic “Drankin N Smokin” Visual

Future and Lil Uzi Vert have been a solid duo for some time now, performing together on tracks such as “Seven Million” and “Over Your Head.” Late last year, the two released their Pluto x Baby Pluto project, which featured “Drankin N Smokin.” Now, just a few months later, the two have released a visual for the track.

Released on January 7th, the music video for “Drankin N Smokin” was directed by DJ Esco and Sam Lecca. It was produced under STL Creative LLC, specifically with Rodney Byerson & Princess Mbanuzue at the helm. Alongside Future and Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Duval and Casino also make appearances in the video, with Duval playing a mansion owner and Casino as his valet. 

The music video opens with Duval getting in contact with Future and Lil Uzi Vert, inviting them to a prayer meeting that he is hosting. As Future arrives in his luxury car, he hands the keys off to Casino, giving him a chain before walking into Duval’s mansion. Once he enters, he is surrounded by women as he begins his verse. The rest of the video features the two rappers traveling throughout the mansion, enjoying themselves and playing games while surrounded by money and women. They do not do anything too crazy, but the vibrant colors and extravagant atmosphere coupled with the smooth sound of the track make for a great visual experience.

The track itself features laid back production primarily made of strong kicks and guitar strums. Producers Hagan and 12Hunna make a laid back beat, which works well with Future and Lil Uzi Vert’s different styles of rap. Although the track is fairly long, and drags at certain times, it’s still a good listen for fans of the musicians. 

The visual for “Drankin N Smokin” is definitely a fun watch, and fans seem to agree. Youtube user Aniibal described it as “a movie,” which proves to be somewhat true with its cinematic shots and use of vibrant colors throughout. The team for this visual did an excellent job. Here’s hoping we continue to see more work between all the different players, in the future.
