The Nike Dunk Low has seen a major revitalization over the past year with expressive colorways like “Grateful Dead” and “Veneer.” With the amount of success the sneaker has received recently, Nike is furthering fans’ love for it with the upcoming “Purple Pulse” colorway.
Images of the Nike Dunk Low “Purple Pulse” were initially revealed on April 16th, showcasing a unique design with simplistic colors. The white undertones complement the washed out indigo upper alongside the white midsole, which blends with the undertones. The midsole is supported by the light purple outsole, helping further accentuate the white tones. White is also seen on the laces, offsetting the faded indigo eyelets. The Nike swoosh is made of purple suede, staying true to the sneaker’s name. The suede swoosh extends to the back ankle, where it is divided by an ankle tab housing additional Nike branding.
Although images of the Nike Dunk Low “Purple Pulse” were revealed a few days ago, it is not expected to arrive until sometime this summer. The shoe is priced at $100 USD and is one of many Dunks recently revealed (it will likely follow a string of summer releases).
The “Purple Pulse” colorway helps shake up the Dunk Low, as it utilizes a simple design with limited colors and still manages to create something eye-catching. The faded indigo pops among the white base, which helps put more attention on both the overlay and the suede swoosh.
