Nike is nowhere close to slowing down when it comes to sneaker releases this year, consistently dropping new colorways, models, and tweaks. They are set to release the new colorway “Hype Jade” for the Nike Air Max 270 on February 28. The Nike Air Max 270 has received love before for its mesh knitting, comfort, and the signature 270-degree air bubble on its heel. The new Hype Jade colorway has much to bring to the Air Max 270, with vibrant colors and small surprises within the shoe.
The Nike Air Max 270 “Hype Jade” colorway is a fresh take on the shoe, bringing along new colors whilst retaining their signature mesh build. The shoe is primarily white, with “Deep Royal Blue” being sprinkled throughout the Nike logo, the inner lining, and the outsole. The Deep Royal Blue in the inner lining helps provide a nice contrast, as the darkness of the inside clashes with the brighter outside. The shoe also features small specks of aqua green near the top base. One of the more unique things about the Hype Jade colorway is that the aqua green color on the mesh of the shoe is also featured on the 270-degree air bubble.
The shoe will retail for $150 at select stores and Nike’s website. The brand also recently released the Nike Adapt BB, which retails for $350. Several customers have complained about the shoe and the app malfunctioning, as a botched Android update caused disconnection between the two devices and did not allow the shoe to sync with the app. Hopefully, the issue is resolved soon, as the brand prepares to release the “Hype Jade” colorway of the Nike Air Max 270.
