Did you get a look at the new rendition of the Nike Kyrie 6 sneaker when it was recently unveiled? We think it is seriously one of the best, new colorways so far this year! The new “Bruce Lee” installment of the Nike Kyrie 6 is extremely promising. Let’s dive into what the sneaker is all about.
The Nike Kyrie 6 “Bruce Lee” installment features only three colors: red, yellow, and black. Despite the limited palette, this colorway makes use of every color, creating an exciting silhouette. The shoe does this by sporting a red base infused with black coloring that takes over the tongue, tongue strap, and back ankle tab. Not only is black seen there, but it also takes its place on the Nike swoosh.
This particular Nike swoosh is divided by three yellow claw strikes. It truly creates a unique look on this version of the Nike Kyrie 6 (none of the other installments have a slashed graphic). The same yellow color from the slashes is seen on top of the tongue as well, taking form as a subtle accent and clashing nicely with the red laces. Sitting below the accent is the typical Kyrie logo in silver (finishing everything off nicely).
The latest installment in the Nike Kyrie 6 series is definitely an exciting one! Presumably inspired by the 2018 sample of the Nike Kyrie 3 “Mamba Mentality,” it’s like a gift to fans that never got a chance to cop the Kobe-inspired colorway. Unfortunately, these fans are going to have to wait a little longer! The Nike Kyrie 6 “Bruce Lee” has yet to receive an official release date. Retail is still likely to be around $140 USD, so sneakerheads better get ready to snag a pair when they officially release to the masses.
