As the year draws to a close, Nike is already making sure to come out strong with new colorways and collaborations. One of the brand’s upcoming collaborations comes in the form of the Union Los Angeles x Nike Dunk Low, which takes one of Nike’s most popular silhouettes and pimps it out with the help of Union Los Angeles.
This collaboration comes in two colorways, with the first taking on various blue tones with complementary orange stitching on the outskirts of the overlay and Nike swoosh. The blue tones are seen all across the upper, with the overlay taking on a baby blue look and the undertone being dressed in a washed-out navy blue. The Nike swoosh is a bit more grayed out, but the flooding of orange stitching helps hide the difference.
The second colorway is dressed in green and black, with the same washed-out undertone taking on green this time. The overlay does not take on a similar tone of green, however, instead opting for a dark-gray look that contrasts the green. The same stitching is seen throughout the sneaker, but dressed in white.
Both outfits of this collaboration are something to write home about, primarily due to the design choice of exposed stitching. The stitching adds another layer of depth to the shoe, giving designers something to spice up the base. This, in turn, helps create more distinct looks, as the blue colorway’s orange stitching sets it apart from the white stitching seen on the green colorway.
