During the past few years, Yeezys have firmily been planted, as a staple, in the sneaker community. And, if you hadn’t noticed, the sneaker’s iconic roots continue to expand. Among the twists and turns of Adidas and Ye teasing new Yeezy looks comes the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Faded Azure,” arriving just in time for the holiday season.
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Faded Azure” takes the Yeezy Boost 700 silhouette and dresses it in various tones of blue, giving it a look resemblant to that of the seas. The shoe opts for different tones and materials, including suede overlays as well as mesh and knit undertones. Orange accents peek out on the dark blue Boost midsole, which is held up by a black outsole. Black laces appear on the sneaker’s opposite end, helping to tie the look together. Contrasting the blue and orange sections is a hint of brown (seen on the toe box), which is almost hidden by the light blue overlay.
I am personally a fan of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Faded Azure.” To me, it feels like a sneaker that represents the mythicality of the sea, taking on an amalgamation of blues while also throwing in hints of vibrant colors (think: orange). Although that may not have been the image Ye had in mind when he was designing these sneakers, that’s what I’m definitely feeling.
If you want to get your hands on a pair of Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Faded Azure” sneakers, you’re in luck because they are already here! One of the downsides to the “Faded Azure” colorway is its price tag of $240 USD. Nevertheless, people are still going to want this shoe.
