The Nike Dunk Low is one of the most iconic silhouettes in Nike’s catalog. If you haven’t noticed, a number of different colorways and collaborations have been released over the past few months, and the brand is definitely keeping their foot on the gas as the year continues. That being said, Nike has been venturing further into much more simpler renditions of the silhouette, as seen with the upcoming “Laser Orange” colorway.
The base is made of white, as are the midsole and tongue. The laser orange overlay contrasts the white base well, with the light colors working together to draw attention to the shoe. The laser orange laces connect to the overlay, blending well with one another and helping tie things together. The laser orange Nike swoosh concludes things, living up to the shoe’s namesake while melding with the other sections.
The Nike Dunk Low “Laser Orange” is scheduled to hit shelves on July 8th with a $100 USD price tag (this is standard for Dunks). The shoe is scheduled to arrive alongside the Nike Air Max 90 “Shimmer Polka,” giving customers the option of which one they’d rather get their hands on.
This new Nike Dunk Low “Laser Orange,” although simple, is one of the more exciting colorways released in recent memory. The two colors enlisted force the designers to come up with an eye-catching look. While simplicity often results in strikingly subtle designs, this look is much bolder than the others in the Dunk catalog, which is perfect for the very bold summer sun.
