The Nike Dunk Low Scrap “Archeo Brown” Has Promise

Nike Dunk Low Scrap “Archeo Brown

Nike has seen major success with their Dunk silhouette, and as the saying goes “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The brand is continuing to capitalize on the success of the Dunk by experimenting with new colors and materials. This experimentation has come to life in the form of the Nike Dunk Low Scrap “Archeo Brown.”

This rendition of the Dunk Low averts from the traditional Dunk dressing, opting instead for a host of different colors and materials while continuing to live up to its name. Among the scraps of the shoe are blue laces, an aqua blue Nike swoosh, and brown waffled undertones. Darker green overlays are seen towards the front of the shoe, and are complemented by orange overlays toward the back of the sneaker. Hints of pink, yellow, and purple are seen as accents throughout the rest of the shoe.

The “Archeo Brown” colorway is a great way to branch out, but we’d like to see the official release with a more polished look. The scraps break the traditional mold of the Dunk, innovating the sneaker in ways that are not often seen. Unfortunately, they look thrown together. Only two photos have been revealed, and we’re hoping Nike cleans things up a bit before it arrives on shelves.

A release date has not been revealed, but it is expected to arrive sometime before the end of the year. As the weeks and months go on, we can expect more information to be revealed; until then, we can only speculate. Leave your speculations in the comment section.
