Nike has long since reigned supreme when it comes to sneakers. Even if some of their kicks aren’t as successful as others, everywhere you go, you’ll be able to find some sort of Nike apparel. They have even seen success among hikers, which has caused them to dive deeper into its Pegasus Trail line. With hiking season coming up, the latest Nike Pegasus Trail 3 was recently revealed.
The Nike Pegasus Trail 3 has been released in two colors, “Black” and “Mystic Teal.” The “Black” colorway features a mesh upper dressed in black, with white being seen on the pull tab, Nike swoosh, and midsole. The black outsole connects to the mesh upper at the tip of the shoe, sandwiching the midsole.
The “Mystic Teal” colorway is made up of a multitude of colors, most notably mystic teal, which is seen on the upper. The Nike swoosh is white, with a smaller black swoosh being seen behind it. A yellow pull tab is housed within a purple back tab, both of which contrast the upper. Purple is also seen on the tongue, and it’s tied down by multi-color laces. The cream midsole is filled with black speckles, which compliment the outsole of the same color.
Each colorway has something different to offer, with the “Black” colorway appealing to those who enjoy a stealthier look and the “Mystic Teal” colorway appealing to those who opt for a more vibrant look. The silhouette itself is perfect for those looking to hike, as it “has the same cushioned comfort you love, with a design that nods to the classic Pegasus look. It’s got tough traction to help you stay moving through rocky terrain. More support around the midfoot helps you feel secure on your journey,” according to Nike.
The release date for the Nike Pegasus Trail 3; according to Nike, was on June 3rd. The brand’s website reveals that the sneaker retails at $130 USD.
