Within the past few years, the Nike SB Dunk Low has risen in the ranks of Nike’s catalog, seeing a big jump in sales with the “Grateful Dead” rendition during 2020. Although things have slowed down a bit this year, Nike is still making sure to get the most out of the silhouette. This is evident with the reveal of the new Nike SB Dunk Low “Chlorophyll.”
On the shoe: hints of natural green are seen overtop a white base, and charred sections of black and gray suede are held down by white laces. Pair that with two black swooshes, one on the side of the shoe and one on the tongue, and the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chlorophyll” is born. This colorway opts for the use of four colors, pairing the green and white together while leaving the gray and black to their own devices.
The construction of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chlorophyll” is eye-catching; the white base contrasts well with the black and gray suede sections. The hint of green on the tongue helps to add a splash of color, working to bring more eyes aboard and not overdoing it. This is definitely one of the more dynamic colorways in the recent roster of Nike SB Dunk Lows, but its construction gives a smoother and simpler impression.
