Travis Scott dove head first into the sneaker game a long time ago, collaborating with brands like Jordan and putting his spin on the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 6. Following his rendition of the Nike Air Max 270 in 2020, Scott is putting his touches on another Air Max model, the Air Max 1.

The Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 1 was first shown on Air Max Day earlier this year, revealed through the SNKRS app. The shoe was revealed through a small series of videos that featured Scott relaxing at home. The videos, titled “Bring the Future to Light,” slowly revealed the sneaker, keeping the viewer on edge until the very end. From what we were able to see, the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 1 consists of rope-like red laces, a brown upper, along with lighter tan undertones and accents. A red Cactus Jack banner is seen on the back heel, surrounded by black.

Although the sneaker has been revealed, not much else is known about it. The end of the video featured a statement that read “stay tuned for more details on the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 1, including availability and release information.” Here’s hoping we get more details in the coming months.

While we can’t make any final calls on how the Nike x Travis Scott Air Max 1 will look, with the banner-designed Cactus Jack logo and the rope-like laces, it will likely resemble the aesthetic of circuses. If this is the case, it’s the perfect design for Scott, who utilized a similar look for his 2018 ASTROWORLD
