Jordan has been dropping plenty of new Air Jordan 1 colorways and “reimaginings” over this past year. From the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Yellow Toe” to the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, these new models have been taking the shoe game by storm! Now, the Jordan brand is ready to make a bold move. They recently announced a reimagined Air Jordan 1, this time dubbed the Air Jordan 1 Nova XX.
The Air Jordan 1 Nova XX is another exclusive for women, taking on the familiar bred colors. A strong white finish is found alongside the bred colors on the tongue and side. The signature Nike swoosh is stitched, a great design choice that works well on the white finish it’s surrounded by. The same white finish is found on the shoe’s tongue and midsole. This model is sure to make many do a double take, however, as the double-lacing system looks like something from Back To The Future. The laces find themselves between the tongue and Nike swoosh rather than around the tongue, something that is usually never seen on sneakers. The shoe also has a removable black strap on the upper collar area which reveals a bred back tab. The winged Air Jordan logo is also found on this strap.
This diverse women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 Nova XX model is set to be something special when it arrives, as the unique design will have sneakerheads flexing everywhere. The problem is, there isn’t a clear release date in sight yet. Although the official images have been released, Jordan has yet to give these shoes a drop date.
