When it comes to sneaker collaborations, the Star Wars film franchise definitely has some experience. Due to its vast collection of characters, the franchise has been able to collaborate with brands, such as Adidas, on new and iconic renditions of these characters. This time around, instead of calling on Adidas for a new colorway, they have gotten in touch with Nike and plan on releasing the Star Wars x Nike Air Presto Mid Utility “Boba Fett.”
This rendition resembles Boba Fett’s armor, consisting of a gray and green base with a yellow overlay, red lace holders, and a red zipper on the side ankle. The midsole is also green, sandwiching the yellow between it and the high-top section of the same color. Nike swooshes can be found in black on the midsole and toe cap, pairing well with the black outsole.
The Prestos already are an amazing silhouette and, when paired with slightly bold colors, its own elements are elevated. Although the gray base is a bit off-putting due to its difference in hue, it stays true to Boba Fett’s character design, so can we really complain?
If you’re a sneakerhead, and a fan of Star Wars, you better make sure to have $150 USD on standby once November arrives, as the Star Wars x Nike Air Presto Mid Utility “Boba Fett” is scheduled to hit shelves sometime that month. An official release date has not been revealed.
