Its morals are on point, but that’s not why it landed on the #2 spot. Goodwill’s clothing options, although sometimes limited, never disappoint. From vintage tees to Hilfiger jeans, there’s always a new favorite to find. They often have holiday-oriented items in front of the store, which are perfect for any social gathering or celebration. Customers often leave Goodwill satisfied, saying, “The prices were very fair for what I was buying” and “Goodwill has provided me with items that I would not have been able to get elsewhere.” It’s a great store that offers many vintage pieces and exciting items. From holiday-themed clothing to popular sneakers, Goodwill has much to offer! Its decent prices, good morals, and ever-changing pieces all help it take the #2 spot on our list.
Coming in at #1 is the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army always manages to have fresh pieces that fit any and all styles. From oversized sweatshirts to mom jeans, the Salvation Army truly has it all. Their prices are often fair (with certain jean jackets selling for $10 and under) and the pieces you get are seriously always great. Although the furniture shopping process can be a hassle, those who go for thrifting alone will surely find what they’re looking for. Thrifters have usually had smooth experiences at the Salvation Army, with some saying, “I admire the people of the Salvation Army for their service and dedication to helping people” and “they’re a bang for your buck.” They have great pieces for cheap, and you can always find a nice branded vintage item there. From Tommy Hilfiger jeans to Nautica sweaters, their selection never disappoints! Coupled with the fact that their prices are easily the best out of all other thrift stores, the Salvation Army takes our #1 spot.
