The past few years have seen a plethora of Air Jordan collaborations, specifically between the brand and Travis Scott. Following the reveal of Scott’s new rendition of the Air Jordan 6, news has surfaced that Scott and Fragment will be collaborating on the Air Jordan 1.
Both Fragment Design and Travis Scott have collaborated with Jordan brand for their own renditions of the Jordan 1—Fragment’s rendition released in 2014 and Scott’s in 2019. Now, the two are fusing together for this new joint, which Scott was seen rocking earlier this year.
Although there has not been an official reveal, a sample version was leaked by @spicychickenwings on Instagram earlier this month. The sneaker features an upper made of premium jumbled leather; it’s dressed in white and complemented by blue undertones (blue is a signature of Fragment Design). The black Nike swoosh is reversed, just as it is on the Travis Scott Jordan 1. Cactus Jack branding is seen on the back ankle, along with the Fragment logo. The midsole matches the white upper, sitting atop a blue outsole.
As of this writing, a release has not been confirmed, but it’s rumored to be arriving this fall. As more information about the sneaker comes to light, so will the retail price. Until then, we can only speculate when it will arrive.
The upcoming Fragment x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 is a great sneaker for those trying to keep their look centered around street style. It can be paired with a plethora of outfits, especially with jeans. Being that it’s an Air Jordan 1, it’s sure to make you look good.
