Looks like Tyler, the Creator is making some more moves in the fashion industry! We hear he recently introduced his upcoming collaboration with Converse and it’s going to be pretty bomb. Apparently, the two fashion titans are planning to drop a new rendition of the Chuck 70! Let’s take a look at it, see how it’s holding up, and (of course!) whether or not this shoe is fire.
This new rendition of the Chuck 70 has Golf Wang written all over it. Well, not literally, but you know what we mean. The base is a light turquoise color, with yellow and orange flames sprawled across the sneaker, specifically near the midsole, toe cap, and back tab. The laces are a solid white color, matching the toe cap and midsole. Maintaining the signature Converse branding that is also on the classic Chuck 70s, this collaboration feels like a Cherry Bomb x Converse Chuck 70 mashup. I mean, just look at the colors of the sneaker! They are very reminiscent of those on the Cherry Bomb cover art.
Tyler, the Creator’s rendition of the Converse Chuck 70 is definitely something that sneakerheads everywhere need to look out for. Honestly, we think that the unique, Cherry Bomb-esque design on the Chuck 70 is something that fans everywhere are going to be gunning for. With a retail price of only $100 USD, it’s pretty certain that this sneaker is going to go quick. Overall, we think it’s a great design with unique features that truly lands on our “must-have” list.
