Virgil Abloh Shakes Sneaker Community Up Revealing His Upcoming Six Collabs

Virgil Abloh upcoming sneaker collars 2021

Virgil Abloh has long since established himself as a fashion powerhouse. Frequent collaborations with Nike and Jordan helped him achieve this status throughout the years. And, now that 2021 is here, it seems as if the collaborations aren’t stopping anytime soon—Abloh just revealed his plans for six new sneakers along with two brand collaborations.

Abloh’s upcoming collaborations were revealed during the launch of his new book, ICONS. They were revealed through his website www.public—domain.com, which is filled with photos of past collaborations, various videos—including an hour long Arthur Jafa x Virgil Abloh conversation on Architecture TV—and a scroll through past and future sneakers. Among the scroll through are six upcoming pairs of sneakers, specifically two Boston-themed Air Force 1s, a pair of Off-White x Futura Nike Dunks, a neutral colored NikeCourt Flare 2 PE, another Air Force 1 collab and the Air Jordan 1 “Canary Yellow.” Some sneakers had been previously teased, such as the Futura Dunks, which were shown during last year’s Paris Fashion Week.

With the recent reveal of the new sneakers, fans will likely have to wait for a while before they see an official release. On the website, the only thing indicating the release date is “??/????,” which does not give fans much to worry about. The sneakers will likely cost a good amount of money, as Off-White has been known for their steep prices. As more information is revealed, we will make sure to keep you updated.
